Caring for it
A MeVoy Gioiello di Seta brings together two living materials: silk and noble metal. Its beauty asks for no complicated attention, only a few precise habits: they are what preserve light, colour and finishes over time.
Put the Gioiello di Seta on only after perfume, cream, make-up and hairspray: alcohol and oils can leave marks on silk and dull metal finishes.
Think of it as a ritual: first you get ready, then you close it around you as the final gesture, once the products have been fully absorbed.
Avoid contact with water (shower, sea, pool) and conditions of high humidity: they can compromise the brilliance of the metal and mark the silk.
If contact does happen, blot gently with a soft cloth and leave it to air-dry, away from heat sources and direct light.
Metal: from time to time, pass a soft, dry cloth over it with light movements. Avoid detergents, polishing pastes, abrasive products and brushes.
Silk: do not wash in water. For stains or a full clean, use professional dry cleaning only, specifying “fine silk”.
If necessary, iron at a low temperature with a protective cloth between the iron and the silk, avoiding direct steam.
After wearing, always untie the knot: the silk needs to lie flat and breathe.
Keep the jewel in its MeVoy pouch and the MeSilk in its original box, in a dry place away from direct light.

Yes, slight variations are possible. Colour perception can change according to the light in which the photograph was taken, the screen the images are viewed on and the nature of silk itself, which lives on its own reflections and depth.
We work to represent every Gioiello di Seta as faithfully as possible, but a slight difference in shade should be considered natural.
To preserve its beauty over time, we recommend treating both the MeSilk and the Embrace with care. It is best to avoid direct contact with water, perfume, creams or other substances that could alter the delicacy of the silk or the brilliance of the jewel's finishes.
When you are not wearing it, keep the Gioiello di Seta in its box or in a dry, protected place, away from direct light and moisture. Attentive care helps preserve the harmony between fabric and metal.
