Silk is a natural fibre, alive and precious. A few essential attentions are all it needs to keep its softness, shape and brilliance over time.
Silk is sensitive to moisture, to alcohol-based agents and to cosmetics. Put the scrunchie on only once perfume, hairspray, oils or creams have been fully absorbed or have dried. Avoid direct contact with rain, water and chemicals, which could leave marks, dull the fibre or alter the colours.
After wearing, remove it without pulling the silk, the bow or the ends. Avoid stretching the elastic beyond its natural extension, so as to preserve its shape and hold over time.
To keep it at its best, store it in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Do not press it under heavy objects, so that the volume of the scrunchie and the shape of the bow are preserved.
Do not machine-wash the scrunchie and do not immerse it in water. To remove any stains or simply to refresh the silk, entrust it to a dry cleaner specialising in delicate fabrics, specifying that it is 100% silk.
